At her nine month Dr. visit, Emilia weighed in at 19lbs and she is now just under 19inches tall. It's hard to believe she'll be a year in less than 3 months! She is just such a smiley, happy baby. Everywhere we go she flashes her big smile with its two little teeth and makes those around us smile.
She now drinks out of a sippy cup and eats with her hands. Some of the food even ends up in her mouth. If we could just get her not to talk with her mouth full!
She no longer likes to be held because there is just too much of the world to explore. If she's in our arms, she's trying to squirm out and look around for what she can get into next. Eating her bottle takes forever because she is always looking around to see what everyone else is doing. Nosey little girl :)
She is really exploring the house now. She found my cookbooks and baby books and quickly started shredding them! We've set up kitchen drawers for her to play in and she just loves to take things out and put them back in.
Emilia LOVES the water. She has always loved her baths and it turns out she loves the pool too. She first went into a kiddie pool and splashed and had a great times. Since then she has been in real pools and that's even more fun. We'll be going to the ocean soon. As you can see from the picture below, she is ready!
