A Very Merry Christmas

Emilia, Tommy and I wishes all reading this a very merry Christmas!

It's incredible to think another year has gone by. Halloween and Thanksgiving went by in a blur! Emilia was the most adorable ladybug for Halloween. We took her trick or treating with her cousins. We were sure she'd tire out quickly, but she surprised us. She loved every minute of it! When Thanksgiving came around she refused the turkey, but enjoyed all the sides and I think her favorite thing was the dinner roll. Even better than dinner was having our family around. She loved playing with her cousins and is taking gymnastic pointers from her cousin Lexi.

I know every mom says this, but I'm convinced that Emilia is advanced...She has an early case of the two's! No-No-No is her favorite thing to say and when she's really feeling "two", she accompanies it with a smack. Thankfully this seems to be coming to an end, and she is practicing her other words instead. These days she says : Mom, DaDa, cup, Bru (Bruno our dog), up, night night, bath, bye bye...and she still babbles non-stop.

Emilia has been big on giving kisses for a long time. By kisses we mean offering her forehead to you to kiss. These days she gives the best hugs (squeezing the back of our necks), and pulls our face to hers for a kiss. There's nothing better!

At our most recent Dr's visit, Emilia weighed in at just over 21 lbs and is 30 inches long.  The teeth are coming fast and furious now. At last count there were 12!  And she needs them all because her favorite thing to eat these days is chicken.

We're gearing up now for Santa's big visit. When she went to visit Santa, Emilia was more interested in riding the mall escalator than visiting with the big guy. He noticed and said he would see about fitting an escalator into the sleigh for her!  Emilia has been "redecorating" our tree for us and says hohoho to the Santa that sits next to the fireplace. It should be a wonderful Christmas! Then it's off to NY to visit family, and hopefully we can take Emi sledding for the first time! Here's wishing for snow!

We wish everyone reading this a Christmas and New Year full of blessings!
Love to All!

She stole this from some much older boys in the park :)

A little Black Friday prep.
Dear Santa, I want everything on page 24.

She pushed this box to her chair and climbed up. Guess she was hungry!
