Emilia is Two!!

It is like she knew she was turning two. Emilia has grown and changed so much in the last few weeks. She is talking so much more, understanding everything and pretending all the time. Just today, she wanted me to be the baby. She covered me with a blanket, gave me stuffed animals and told me to go night night. Like a two year old I know, I asked for 'more books', 'more drinks' and 'more hugs'. She gave me all three :)

Emilia's rainbow themed birthday party was a great success! Everyone left exhausted and hopped up on sugar and Emilia had a blast! Check out the pictures below.

I'm not going to claim that Emi knows how to count, since she jumps from 4 to 9 and then cheers wildly :) but boy she loves to count. And she mumbles her way through the ABC song, too. What's really amazing to me is that she watches what we do so closely and tries to mimic it. She will take a crayon and draw big round loops and say "circle!". She also draws one vertical line and three diagonal lines intersecting the vertical and says "E!". I know everyone's kid is smart, but boy our kid is the smartest!!!
