Happy New Year!!
We had a wonderful Christmas followed by a great trip to NY to see Anne's family. Emilia was so enthusiastic for all things Christmas which made this year a real blast. She's still telling us that we need to be good so Santa will bring us presents. How'd this get turned around on us??
Emilia got the "big dollhouse" that she so badly wanted and a big girl bike with training wheels. Her favorite gift seemed to be a little wooden work bench with a hammer, wrench and screw driver. Tools just like Daddy has! She just loves that thing!
Santa ate the cookies she left for him and the reindeer ate the carrots. Santa even left Emilia a note thanking her and encouraging her to stay on his good list. Here's hoping she does!
Before going to NY Emilia was adamant that while there she wanted to make snow angels, have a snowball fight, skate, go sledding, go skiing and build a snowman. Well, we built a snowman, had a snowball fight, and made snow angels...she hated skating, she took one look at the big ski slope and said "don't want to go on the snow mountain", and the snow didn't last long enough for us to go sledding. Overall not bad :)
